South Sydney have confirmed that Wayne Bennett will be the NRL club’s new coach from 2020.
Brisbane’s Bennett appears to have been involved in a direct swap with current Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold, though the Broncos have yet to confirm that move.
Souths said Bennett’s appointment was for the 2020 and 2021 seasons with no mention as to whether the door was open for him to make the move for 2019.
