Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has become the first Warriors player to win the NRL’s Dally M medal, claiming the player-of-the-season prize on Wednesday night.
The Warriors fullback polled 29 points to take the medal by two votes from Newcastle’s Kalyn Ponga, while the Wests Tigers’ Luke Brooks was third.
Melbourne skipper Cameron Smith won captain of the year, South Sydney’s Anthony Seibold was coach of the year and Brisbane’s Jamayne Isaako was the rookie of the year.
