Titans not talking about DCE rumours

Gold Coast coach Neil Henry says reports Daly Cherry-Evans is contemplating backing out of his deal to join the NRL club is nothing more than speculation.

Henry refused to comment on the reports the Queensland and Australian half is having second thoughts about joining the Titans on a four-year deal from next season.

Cherry-Evans has until round 13 this season to back out of the deal and Manly are reportedly trying to convince him to stay at Brookvale but the Titans say the playmaker’s manager Gavin Orr has assured them he’ll be honouring the contract.
