Gold Coast have been dealt a massive blow ahead of Saturday’s NRL clash with the Warriors, losing star halfback Ash Taylor to a hamstring injury.

Taylor missed Titans’ training earlier in the week as he battled the injury, just days after he set up four tries in their come-from-behind opening-round win over Canberra.

However, he will be sidelined for the Auckland match, leaving recruit Bryce Cartwright to play in the halves alongside Kane Elgey.
