Sydney Roosters skipper Braith Anasta will play for Wests Tigers next season after agreeing to a two-year deal with the NRL club on Friday.
Off contract at the end of the season, Anasta’s future has been the subject of much speculation, with the Roosters seemingly not keen to hold onto the 30-year-old, who has been with the club since 2006.
Anasta’s manager Greg Willett said he had been in talks with the Tigers for a couple of weeks, who view the former NSW Origin representative as an ideal replacement for departing back-rower Gareth Ellis.
