North Queensland coach Paul Green has cut Ray Thompson from his extended bench for Saturday night’s NRL knockout semi-final against Cronulla in Townsville.
Green opted for Rory Kostjasyn for his bench utility, overlooking Thompson who featured in last week’s 16-12 qualifying final loss to Brisbane.
The winner meets the Storm in Melbourne in next week’s grand final qualifier.
