Tedesco named Wests Tigers best

Fullback James Tedesco has been named the Wests Tigers players’ player for the 2015 season.

The speedy fullback scored 17 tries and played all 24 matches for the Tigers this season and averaged 152 running metres per game.

Tim Sheens, who coached the merged club to its only premiership in 2005, and Brett Hodgson, who was the fullback in that season decider, were made life members.

Second-rower Kyle Lovett was also named the club’s NRL Rookie of the Year.
