The Sydney Roosters’ forward stocks have been further decimated with confirmation in-form lock Sio Siua Taukeiaho will be out for up to six weeks with a knee injury.
Taukeiaho suffered a media ligament injury during the first half of the Roosters’ maiden win of the NRL season over South Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.
Already without injured representative duo Boyd Cordner and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Taukeiaho’s 4-6 week absence will further test the Roosters’ depth ahead of Monday’s game against Penrith.
