When: 19:55 | Friday 15/06/2018

Where: Allianz Stadium, Sydney

Preview:

Shaping to be the game of the round, and with both the Roosters and Panthers coming off wins, I get the feeling this one will have a little bit of everything.

I know last week’s games for both teams were just enough to get the job done against lesser opposition however if one team repeats that they will get dominated.

Boyd Cordner finds his way back into the team after his rest last week and he will need to be at his best again.

Two similar teams which rely on their forwards to lay the foundations before heading wide to their stars.

This is why my key matchup will be exactly that, the forwards.

KEY BATTLE: Dylan Napa v Reagan Campbell-Gillard

I can’t wait to see Napa and RCG go at it again.

I love the aggression in which they both play with.

I sound like a broken record at times but whoever comes out on top here will win the game.

The Verdict

I’m leaning in the way of the men in black.

They have been consistent improvers in the season and I feel will grab another valuable two points.

Each of the Roosters’ last four Friday night matches have gone over the total match points line.

NRL News:

Peter Wallace has endorsed James Maloney to take over the Penrith captaincy for the rest of the NRL season following his shock retirement on Tuesday.

Wallace announced he has hung up the boots after losing his battle to a bicep injury, which was followed my revelations he had played the past year without an ACL in his right knee.

“I know the boys really look up to him and he gives them a lot of confidence having him in the team. They’re in very good hands there,” Wallace said on Wednesday.
