The Sydney Roosters have completed the signing of hooker Matt Srama from the Gold Coast Titans.
The 23-year-old rake has put pen to paper on a 12-month deal and is in line to start the 2015 NRL season with first-choice No.9 Jake Friend recovering from off-season shoulder surgery.
Roosters recruitment manager Peter O’Sullivan believes Srama will be a valuable asset to the club.
“Matt’s opportunities have been hindered by injury but he’s in terrific shape,” O’Sullivan said.
“A tough and uncompromising player, Matt’s experience and talent will add great depth to our squad.”
Srama has played 62 games in the NRL since making his debut with the Titans in 2011.
