Canberra coach Ricky Stuart claims he has never been more confident of success in an NRL judiciary hearing as the Raiders prepare to fight Jack Wighton’s shoulder charge sanction.

The Raiders are contesting the grade two offence on Tuesday night, which could see Wighton suspended for the entire finals series.

“I’ve been involved in a number of cases over the years as a coach with players and this is the most confident I’ve been in regards to getting Jack off,” he told reporters.
