Canberra coach Ricky Stuart is confident star hooker Josh Hodgson will overcome injury to play in the Raiders’ NRL clash with Parramatta.

Hodgson suffered a chest injury in Canberra’s one-point loss to Brisbane last week, and will use the Raiders’ final training session on Friday to prove his fitness for Saturday’s match at GIO Stadium.

Stuart’s side will be desperate for a win after losses in three of their first four games, while the Eels will be trying to win in Canberra for the first time in more than a decade.
