Melbourne’s big three of Cooper Cronk, Cameron Smith and Billy Slater have been ruled out of Saturday night’s NRL top-of-the-table clash with the Sydney Roosters.

The Storm announced on Thursday that the Queensland State of Origin trio and Maroons centre Will Chambers will all miss the clash at Adelaide Oval after a bruising game two.

The Roosters meanwhile are expected to be without co-captain Boyd Cordner due to a calf injury suffered in Wednesday night’s match at ANZ Stadium.
