The Manly Sea Eagles travel to Jubilee Oval on Saturday with their season hanging by a thread — only a win will keep their finals hopes alive. After enduring four consecutive defeats that yielded just 32 points, they rediscovered their attacking spark last week with a stunning 58-30 rout of the Dolphins. Luke Brooks, Lehi Hopoate and Tom Trbojevic all bagged doubles, while Daly Cherry-Evans produced a vintage playmaking performance to quieten the doubters.
St George Illawarra, on the other hand, have drifted out of the race. Despite gritty victories over Canberra and Cronulla and a spirited showing against the Warriors, they crashed to a demoralising 40-0 loss against a severely depleted Rabbitohs outfit.
