Souths’ Turner set for return in NSW Cup

South Sydney back-rower Kyle Turner is set to make his return from a spinal injury this weekend.

Turner suffered the injury in the NRL All Stars game in February and was sidelined indefinitely following surgery.

However, the 23-year-old will likely make his return for Rabbitohs’ feeder club North Sydney on Sunday against Wentworthville in the NSW Cup at North Sydney Oval.

Turner is sure to come into contention for the Rabbitohs in the run-in to the finals as they seek to defend their NRL premiership.
