South Sydney and Parramatta square off on Saturday night in a clash between two sides desperate to stay clear of the wooden spoon fight after gritty wins last week. The Rabbitohs snapped a nine-game losing streak with a nail-biting 20-18 victory over the Titans, boosted by Latrell Mitchell’s return just a week after leaking 60 points to Brisbane.
Parramatta, rejuvenated by Mitch Moses’ comeback and strong contributions from their emerging stars, have edged out the Broncos and Cowboys in tight contests, with only a narrow defeat to Melbourne in between. Souths have made one change, with Shaquai Mitchell replacing the concussed Lachlan Hubner, while the Eels stick solid, though rookie fullback Isaiah Iongi could return from injury.
