Billy Slater is set to join skipper Cameron Smith in playing out their NRL careers with the Melbourne Storm after signing a new two-year deal.
The contract will take 32-year-old Test and Queensland fullback Slater through to the end of the 2017 season, his 15th with the club he joined as a teenager.
It should see him achieve the 300-game milestone with the Storm – he is currently on 277.
Fellow 32-year-old Smith signed a four-year deal to the end of 2018 last year.
