Kangaroos fullback Billy Slater says a fitness test on Tuesday will determine his fate for Friday night’s trans-Tasman Test in Brisbane.
Slater has missed Melbourne’s last three NRL games due to a shoulder injury but has still been included in the Kangaroos’ 20-man squad featuring four rookies.
If Slater can’t prove his fitness, Greg Inglis will don the No.1 jersey with Michael Jennings filling the centre vacancy.
