North Queensland prop Ashton Sims faces up to two weeks on the sidelines after being charged over a high shot on ex-teammate Ben Hannant.
Sims on Monday was slapped with a grade two careless high tackle charge by the NRL match review committee for his first-half hit during the Cowboys’ last round NRL win over Brisbane.
An early plea will ensure one week on the sidelines but if Sims fights and loses he will cop a fortnight ban.
