Semi Radradra remains an NRL Eels no-show

Semi Radradra has reportedly been given a further extension on his leave from NRL club Parramatta.

But the representative winger’s manager maintains he will play for the Eels on Saturday night against Cronulla.

Radradra is yet to return to Sydney from a trip home to Fiji where he was believed to be weighing up his future as he considers a switch to French rugby.

However manager, George Christodoulou, has told News Corp that Radradra will be staying with the Eels until at least the end of his contract next year.

“Semi remains committed to the Eels for the remainder of his current contract expiring in 2017 and will not be going to French rugby or anywhere else whilst under contract,” Christodoulou said on Wednesday.

Radradra was first scheduled to return to Sydney on Sunday after leaving the country during Parramatta’s bye weekend.

That leave was extended for him to return to training on Wednesday.

According to Fairfax Media, the Eels are seeking $700,000 in compensation should Radradra walk out on the club.
