Roosters’ Cordner a chance for ANZAC day

Sydney Roosters forward Boyd Cordner is a strong chance of playing in Monday’s ANZAC Day NRL clash with St George Illawarra after returning to full training this week.

Cordner is yet to appear this season after tearing his pectoral muscle at a training session on the eve of the first game of the year, but is now on the cusp of a sorely-needed return.

The Roosters, also without Jared Warea-Hargreaves and Mitchell Pearce, are last on the competition ladder with just one win, almost a third of the way through the season.
