Robinson savages bunker, referee Cummins

Coach Trent Robinson has launched a no-holds-barred attack on the NRL’s bunker and referee Ben Cummins in a dramatic post-script to Sydney Roosters’ Anzac Day loss to St George Illawarra.

Robinson was incensed about a number of calls that went against the Roosters as they pressed for a late come-from-behind win before going down 20-18 to the Dragons at Allianz Stadium on Monday.

The premiership-winning mentor accused Cummins of being disrespectful to his players and the bunker of attempting to play the role of the match review committee. The outburst could cost Robinson a $10,000 fine.
