Mid-season recruit James Roberts has completed his first training run since rejoining South Sydney on the way to an anticipated NRL return.
Roberts, who was let go by Brisbane last week, was the last one off Redfern Oval after a 90-minute session on Monday morning.
“He knows the plays, knows the environment. He knows half the players in the squad, so he’s only been here a couple of hours but he’s been great,” captain Sam Burgess said on Monday.
