Reynolds to start for Bulldogs

Josh Reynolds will start at five-eighth in Friday’s NRL clash against Manly as he bids to ignite his State of Origin selection hopes, Canterbury coach Des Hasler has confirmed.

Reynolds has come under fire for his indifferent form in coming off the bench for the Dogs in recent weeks after overcoming an arm injury, with Moses Mbye favoured at starting pivot.

But the NSW incumbent will be given the chance to fully press his case for Origin selection against under-siege Manly.

However prop Tim Browne, who was knocked out by Tyson Frizell in last week’s loss to St George Illawarra is unlikely to play for the suspension and injury-hit Dogs.
