Canberra NRL winger Reece Robinson will be sidelined for four weeks after scans revealed a fractured cheekbone.
Robinson was injured in the final play of Saturday night’s 24-19 NRL loss to Melbourne when he was tackled by Storm centre Justin O’Neill.
It’s a cruel blow for 24-year-old Robinson, who is in the midst of negotiations for a new contract with the Raiders.
Rugby union convert Dimitri Pelo and young gun Jack Wighton are the leading contenders to take his place for Saturday night’s match against Gold Coast at Skilled Park.
