Canberra are enjoying a big morale boost from having fullback Jack Wighton cleared to play in the NRL finals.

Veteran forward Sia Soliola says the Raiders players cheered when they heard Tuesday night’s judiciary verdict, which exonerated Wighton of a shoulder charge ahead of Saturday night’s home qualifying final against Cronulla.

“It’s definitely lifted our spirits – there’s a big buzz around the place,” Soliola said on Wednesday.
