Radradra could be back to face Broncos

Parramatta winger Semi Radradra could make a shock return from injury as early as next week, just in time to press his claims for Australia’s Four Nations campaign.

The 25-year-old was not scheduled to be back for three weeks after suffering a knee injury against the Sydney Roosters last month.

He had been pencilled in to return from a medial strain in the penultimate round of the season, however could be back to face Brisbane next week, according to coach Brad Arthur.

Arthur scotched rumours Radradra would make a shock appearance against Manly at Pirtek Stadium on Friday, saying: “Maybe next week”.

Had Radradra returned in round 25, it would left him short of a gallop heading into the Four Nations in England considering Parramatta are set to miss the finals.

Radradra made his first appearance for the Kangaroos in the mid-year Test following his controversial defection from Fiji.

Radradra last month appeared in court charged with domestic violence offences against his former girlfriend but pleaded not guilty.
