Punters place Big Bets on 2020 NRL Round 18

Two TAB punters are extremely confident that the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne will be victorious in their Round 18 encounters this weekend against Newcastle and North Queensland respectively.

Last Sunday, one TAB customer plonked $31,000 at odds of $1.25 on the Roosters to account for the Knights at the SCG on Saturday night and the Storm to beat the Cowboys at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Yesterday, another TAB punter placed $20,000 at $1.18 on the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne to win their Round 18 clashes.

The Sydney Roosters – winners of three straight games and six of seven – are $1.09 favourites to defeat Newcastle ($7.50) while Melbourne – victorious in 10 of their last 11 fixtures – are $1.09 against North Queensland ($7.50).
