Players fined after Bulldogs NRL sanction

Adam Elliott has been fined $25,000 by Canterbury and three other players sanctioned after the club was slugged with a record $250,000 fine by the NRL for their Mad Monday antics.

Elliott was fined after nude images of him were published by media outlets on Tuesday, while Asipeli Fine was also given a $25,000 fine, Marcelo Montoya a $10,000 fine and Zac Woolford $10,000.

“These are good people who have acted in an immature and juvenile way. They have accepted responsibility for their actions and have apologised to the club for their behaviour,” Bulldogs chief executive Andrew Hill said.
