The four-time defending champion Penrith Panthers will face the Cronulla Sharks in the second match of Saturday’s Las Vegas double-header at Allegiant Stadium.

Despite the departures of Jarome Luai and James Fisher-Harris, the Panthers remain loaded with talent as they begin their pursuit of a fifth consecutive premiership.

The Sharks, who fell short against Penrith in last season’s preliminary finals, will be a formidable opponent, especially after adding Addin Fonua-Blake to their already strong forward pack.

With Sione Katoa sidelined due to injury, Sam Stonestreet will get a shot on the wing, and Jesse Ramien will start in the centres, pushing Siosifa Talakai to the bench.
