Halfback Mitchell Pearce has reportedly re-signed with the Sydney Roosters on a four-year NRL deal.

Pearce’s new contract, reported by News Limited, will keep the NSW State of Origin No.7 at the foundation club at least until the end of the 2017 NRL season.

The 23-year-old is believed to have knocked back an offer from St George Illawarra.

Pearce’s deal is expected to be officially announced at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
