Paul Gallen will extend his NRL career into a 17th season in 2017, the Cronulla skipper said on Thursday.
Gallen will finalise a new one-year contract with the Sharks in the coming weeks.
The representative forward said at the launch of the Sydney Darts Masters at Star City he wanted the new deal finalised before the NRL finals so he can concentrate on Cronulla’s push for their maiden premiership.
