The Eels have found some resilience in recent weeks, beating Brisbane and North Queensland before narrowly falling 20-16 to Souths. Their defence has stiffened, conceding 20 points or fewer in four consecutive games. Joash Papalii shifts into the halves to partner Isaiah Iongi, while Dylan Walker provides steel through the middle. The Roosters, meanwhile, have stormed into the eight on the back of three dominant wins, most recently outclassing Canterbury 32-12.
