It’s now or never for the Parramatta Eels and Gold Coast Titans as they face off at CommBank Stadium on Sunday night. Locked near the bottom of the ladder and separated only by points differential, defeat here could spell the end of either side’s already fading finals ambitions.

The Titans head into the clash buoyed by a shock 28-8 upset over Manly, snapping a four-game skid and showcasing their attacking firepower. They’ll be further strengthened by the return of Origin forwards Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika, while Jojo Fifita slots in for the axed Brian Kelly.

Parramatta, coming off a bye, have had time to digest their 30-12 King’s Birthday loss but now face a major test without their first-choice halves. Dylan Brown remains suspended and Mitch Moses is sidelined through injury, handing Joash Papalii and Dean Hawkins a chance to steer the ship. Wiremu Greig also returns from the bench.
