Brisbane back-rower Corey Parker has been cleared to play in Saturday night’s NRL qualifying final with North Queensland at Suncorp Stadium.
Parker ran strongly at Friday training at Suncorp, allaying fears over a troublesome hamstring complaint that forced him to leave Wednesday’s session early.
Brisbane have also been boosted by news fellow veteran forward Sam Thaiday has re-signed for another three years, all but ensuring he is a Bronco for life.
