Canberra have received a shot in the arm ahead of Sunday’s NRL clash with Wests Tigers after Queensland forward Josh Papalii re-signed with the Raiders for another four seasons.
The Maroons bench enforcer will remain in the nation’s capital until the end of the 2022 season after knocking back interest from South Sydney and Cronulla.
The 26-year-old has capped a dramatic form reversal after being sent to reserve grade by Raiders coach Ricky Stuart earlier this season.
