Papalii backs Napa for Origin II

Queensland prop Josh Papalii has no doubt Dylan Napa will overcome a broken wrist and play Sunday’s State of Origin II in Perth, saying he is the toughest player he has seen.

Napa trained with a heavily strapped wrist during Wednesday’s first Maroons session while centre Dane Gagai (virus) took part early before doing individual drills.

“He is just in another calibre with his toughness. That gives me confidence he will be right,” Papalii said of front row partner Napa.
