Panthers’ Gordon has broken leg

Luckless Penrith winger Michael Gordon is expected to undergo surgery in the next few days after confirmation he suffered a broken leg in Saturday night’s 22-14 NRL loss to the Bulldogs.

Gordon was playing his first game since undergoing a knee reconstruction last May and was taken to hospital after limping from the Centrebet Stadium field midway through the first half with a broken fibula.
