O’Donnell stood down by Roosters

Sydney Roosters recruit Luke O’Donnell will miss Monday’s NRL clash with Parramatta following a breach of the club’s standards.

The former NSW and Australian second-rower was stood down by the Roosters on Tuesday for one week following the breach, which includes being late to training.

“The Sydney Roosters have strong policies in place and any form of breach is taken seriously,” said Roosters boss Brian Canavan.

O’Donnell returned to the NRL this year after two seasons with English club Huddersfield.
