Oates out of Qld under 20s

A hamstring injury has forced Broncos utility Corey Oates to pull out of the Queensland Under 20s team’s annual State of Origin clash with NSW at Penrith on Saturday.

Fellow Bronco Brett Greinke fills the vacancy in the back-row after being elevated from the bench while another Brisbane junior forward Ajuma Adams comes into the 17.

The Queensland Under 20s side will be led by Canberra playmaker Anthony Milford who turned his back on playing for Samoa to remain in contention for a State of Origin senior berth this year.

Milford will run out for Queensland under 20s in the curtain raiser for Samoa’s Four Nations qualifier with Fiji at Penrith.
