Sydney Roosters have re-signed impressive back-rower Aidan Guerra to a new three-year deal, keeping him at the NRL club until the end of the 2015 season.
Guerra, who made his debut in 2010, has established himself in the Roosters starting pack this season.
He’s part of solid group of young back-rowers at the club which includes Brad Takairangi, Jack Bosden and teenager Boyd Cordner.
Roosters coach Brian Smith was enthusiastic about Guerra’s decision to extend his time at the club.
“Aidan is a strong, talented young forward with his best footy still ahead of him,” Smith said in a statement.
“We are very pleased to have been able to agree to terms to extend his time at the club.”
The 24-year-old’s re-signing continues a strong period of recruitment for the club, with Anthony Minichiello, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Joseph Leilua having also extended their contracts in recent weeks.
