Injuries to key players and a tough month of upcoming matches has seen South Sydney drift in the TAB premiership market despite Thursday night’s strong win over the Raiders.
The Rabbitohs have moved from $4.50 to $5.50 with injury concerns over stars Adam Reynolds, Cameron Murray and Latrell Mitchell before facing the Storm, Sharks, Panthers and Eels over the next four weeks.
They’re $2.70 outsiders against Melbourne ($1.45) in Thursday night’s round nine opener. Top eight hopes Canberra and Gold Coast have also drifted in the premiership market while Penrith remain favourites, tightening further from $3.50 into $3.25.
