What will come first? A Panthers loss or Bulldogs win? TAB have asked the question to punters, with a 1st Win market opened on when or if Canterbury will break through this season to go with the Next Loss market for the undefeated Penrith.
A whopping 75 percent of the market is on the Bulldogs failing to win a game this season at $11 now that they’ve faced fellow battlers North Queensland and Brisbane for the last time this season. The other 25 percent is on them upsetting Cronulla on Saturday at $6.00. The Sharks are $1.13 favourites.
The Panthers ($3.50) are now the best backed team with TAB to win the premiership having overtaken South Sydney ($4.50), while a $10,000 bet was taken on them to beat the Knights tonight at $1.10.
After losing one match in their past 24 – last year’s Grand Final – 40 percent of the Next Loss money is on Penrith going through the regular season undefeated at $13.
