The Sharks are favourites with TAB to seal the last spot in the NRL Top 8 despite being underdogs in the last round against the Storm.

Cronulla are $3.20 outsiders even though Melbourne ($1.34) are resting many of their big name stars, but the Sharks are priced at $1.80 in TAB’s Final Eight market ahead of Canberra at $3.00 and the Titans at $4.50.

There was early money during the week for the Raiders but the Roosters remain favourites for the Round 25 opener, even with their injury toll seeing their Premiership odds blow out further from $17 last week to $41.

The Titans will be sweating on losses to both Cronulla and Canberra to keep their finals hopes alive. They’re $1.26 favourites against the Warriors ($3.75) but there has been interest in the New Zealanders from punters.

Parramatta are the big movers having drifted from $3.50 to $11 against Penrith following Tuesday’s team announcement. The Panthers are now $1.03 favourites.
