$9.00    Manly

Top 4: $1.85 Final 8: $1.16 Miss The Top 8: $4.75 Most Losses: $67

$10        South Sydney

  • The Rabbitohs opened at $10 and tightened to $9 before being wound out a touch following the Charity Shield loss. They’re sixth best backed to win the Premiership but well supported in the To Miss The Top Four market with a $3,500 bet at $1.70 the most notable.

Top 4: $2.15 Final 8: $1.25 Miss The Top 8: $3.70 Most Losses: $51

$13        Parramatta

  • The Eels were set at $13 but drifted to $15 with the unveiling of the draw. Punters were clearly impressed with their trial form and they were bought back into $13 and are rivalling Melbourne as the second best backed to win the title with 15% of the Premiership money.

Top 4: $3.50 Final 8: $1.50 Miss The Top 8: $2.45 Most Losses: $41

$21        Cronulla

$26        Brisbane

  • Despite their trial form TAB traders are cautiously watching for the Adam Reynolds impact on the Broncos, keeping them at $26 where the money remains steady as the eighth most backed side to win the Grand Final. $29        Newcastle

  • Punters appear ready to write the Knights off. They’re the second worst backed team and have drifted from $21 to $29 with little interest in the Premiership market. They’re also best backed in the Most Loses market and To Miss The Eight market.

They shortened into $34 with a good impression in trials and the Charity Shield but have been pushed out again with a tough draw to start the season. There has been a few solid bets on them from Dragons faithful and they’re the ninth most supported side in the title market.

$41        Warriors

$67        Wests Tigers

Top 4: $12 Final 8: $5 Miss The Top 8: $1.14 Most Losses: $3.50

$67        North Queensland

  • The worst backed side to win the Grand Final, the Cowboys opened at $41 and the trial form appears to have given no encouragement to TAB punters. They’ve blown out to $67 to win the Premiership and are third best backed in The Most Losses market.

Top 4: $11 Final 8: $4.50 Miss The Top 8: $1.17 Most Losses: $4.25
