NRL club Cronulla have been reportedly been fined $1 million with coach Shane Flanagan receiving a 12-month suspension over the ASADA drugs scandal.
News Corp reported that the NRL would announce the punishments on Tuesday afternoon.
The NRL has called a press conference at its Sydney headquarters at 12.30pm (AEDT).
It is understood that NRL boss Dave Smith in conjunction with the integrity unit finalised punishments for the club more than a week ago.
The NRL’s investigation is separate and independent of ASADA’s 10-month inquiry, which has seen 14 members of Cronulla’s 2011 squad interviewed this year.
