North Queensland Cowboys vs Parramatta Eels Preview

North Queensland Cowboys will host the Parramatta Eels at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in a massive preliminary final on Friday night.

The Cowboys have opened as the favourites in the market but there’s little separating the two sides which hopefully means we’re in for a classic game.

With a spot on the Grand Final on the line we can expect plenty of heat in this game. Earlier this season the Cowboys easily accounted for the Eels, winning 35-4.

The Eels will take plenty of confidence out of their demolishing win against the Raiders last week though and will undoubtedly put in another good performance.

So who wins? The Cowboys will be looking to make the most of the home ground advantage here and in a tight contest that might be what gets them over the line. Backing them to win 1-12.

Betting Update:

There’s been money for both teams this week but little movement in the market as a whole. The Cowboys remain the favourites at $1.67 with online bookmaker Ladbrokes.

Parramatta are still rated a decent chance at $2.25, out from a low of $2.10 during the week.
