Round 11 kicks off with a high-stakes clash at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday night, as the Newcastle Knights take on the Parramatta Eels.
The Knights are desperate to bounce back after a gut-wrenching 24-20 defeat to the Titans, in which they surrendered a commanding 20-0 lead. With only one win in their past seven outings, Newcastle finds itself in the bottom four and in urgent need of a turnaround.
The Eels haven’t fared much better. They let a lead slip in a 20-16 loss to the Dolphins, leaving them with just two wins from nine games so far this season.
Newcastle will debut Fletcher Hunt on the wing in place of the injured Greg Marzhew, while Adam Elliott moves into the starting lineup, covering for the sidelined Leo Thompson.
