When: 15:00 | Saturday 12/05/2018

Where: Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland

Preview:

Bunty Afoa and Agnatius Paasi lead the way for the Warriors last week with the fearless charges and both running in excess of 170m.
In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen a more dominant game where a team has owned the running game like the Warriors did.
Overall 10 players ran over 100m last week.
They’ll be looking to repeat that again against the Roosters who hung on to get a win.
With their own injury concerns, we’ll have to wait to see who will be fit.
Shaun Johnson was superb last week before picking up his ankle injury.
Adam Blair and Issac Luke are their other concerns.
All three are senior leaders in this team.
If you remember back to round 4 when the Roosters were outplayed, Shaun Johnson wasn’t there.
Mason Lino was the star that day.
Something isn’t quite right with me at the moment about the Chooks and I’m not 100 percent what it is yet.
The Warriors on the other hand, sit 2nd on the table and rightly so.
Back-to-back games at home will help them grind out another victory.
KEY BATTLE: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck v James Tedesco
Look for the battle of the old Rooster RTS and his replacement Tedesco.
It should be a cracker!

NRL News:

Sydney Roosters utility Victor Radley has failed in his bid to avoid an NRL suspension for his high hit on Manly’s Martin Taupau last weekend.

Radley pleaded guilty to the grade-two careless high tackle charge but was seeking a downgrade at the judiciary on Tuesday night.

He was unsuccessful, meaning the abrasive youngster was banned for one match and will therefore miss his side’s clash with the Warriors on Saturday.

Roosters teammate Joseph Manu copped a grade-one dangerous contact charge for his knee-impacting tackle on Sea Eagles utility Dylan Walker but will not miss a match.

Penrith rookie Jack Hetherington is the only other player suspended from round nine after his crusher tackle on North Queensland forward Shaun Fensom on Friday.

Canberra forward Joseph Tapine and St George Illawarra second-rower Tyson Frizell also both escaped bans after taking the early guilty pleas for respective dangerous throw and contact charges.
