Matt Moylan has been named to take over as Penrith NRL captain under new coach Anthony Griffin.
The 24-year-old fullback takes over from halfback Peter Wallace with Griffin saying he wants Wallace to focus on his return from a second knee reconstruction.
Moylan is going into just his third full season of first grade and has been widely tipped for representative honours.
